Competition 2020/21.

The basic condition for enrollment in study programs in the first year of the first cycle of studies is the completion of a four-year secondary education in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, or equivalent education abroad.

The first enrollment period of the FIRST CYCLE OF STUDIES begins in mid-June, and the second enrollment deadline of the FIRST CYCLE OF STUDIES will be organized by faculties / academies that do not enroll the planned number of students in the first deadline, and the deadlines are in September.

Competition deadlines - SECOND AND THIRD CYCLE OF STUDIES The competition for enrolling students in the second and third cycle of studies is open from June to October, when candidates will be able to submit their applications. Taking the entrance exam in the second cycle of studies will be done at the end of October. The amount of tuition for full-time students who co-finance study costs for study programs of the first and second cycle of studies at public higher education institutions for the academic year is determined by the Decision of the Government of Republic of Srpska, while the amount of tuition for students who self-finance study costs, part-time students and foreign students. the second and third cycle of studies at public higher education institutions is determined by the Decision of the Management Board of the higher education institution.

When applying for enrollment in the first cycle of studies, the candidate is required to submit an application and attach the following documents, as follows:

  1. Birth certificate;
  2. Certificate of citizenship not older than 6 months;
  3. Original certificates of completed secondary education classes and original diploma of passing the final exam;
  4. Proof of payment of the fee for taking the entrance exam or the exam for checking aptitude and ability;

When applying for enrollment in the second cycle of studies, the candidate is required to submit an application and attach the following documents:

  1. Birth certificate;
  2. Certificate of citizenship not older than 6 months;
  3. Original or certified copy of the degree certicifate of the completed first cycle of studies, ie basic studies;
  4. Certificate of passed exams in the first cycle of studies or undergraduate studies;
  5. Curriculum of studies completed by the candidate (if he studied at another faculty);
  6. Proof of payment of the fee for taking the entrance exam or the exam for checking aptitude and ability.

The candidate has exercised the right to enroll if he / she is placed on the ranking list within the number determined by the competition for enrollment. If the candidate is on the ranking list up to the number determined by the competition for enrollment, he has exercised the right to enroll and is obliged to enclose a medical certificate during enrollment, which will include the findings of a general health condition, including the findings of a psychologist. The ranking list is published on the faculty website.

When enrolling / applying for the third cycle of studies, the candidate is required to submit an application and attach the following documents, as follows:

  1. Birth certificate;
  2. Certificate of citizenship not older than 6 months;
  3. Certified copy of the degree certificate of the completed first and second cycle, ie certified copy of the degree certificate of basic and master studies for students according to the old non-Bologna program, ie equivalence of the title acquired according to previously valid regulations equated with the title acquired at the end of the second cycle of studies (the originals are submitted for inspection when submitting documents)
  4. Degree certificate supplement for I and II cycle of studies (certified copies) or certificate of passed exams for undergraduate and master's studies, with average grades;
  5. Curriculum (for students according to the old, non-Bologna program);
  6. Proof of knowledge of a foreign language (for the University of East Sarajevo);
  7. Proof of payment of administrative registration costs;
  8. Bibliography.

Candidates who meet the following conditions have the right to apply for the competition for enrollment in doctoral studies:

  • persons who have completed second cycle academic studies, ie integrated studies with at least 300 ECTS credits and an average grade of at least 8.00 in both the first and second cycle of studies, ie integrated studies, knowledge of a foreign language and fulfillment of other conditions that may be prescribed acts of the faculty, and depending on the scientific field;
  • persons who, according to previously valid regulations, have completed postgraduate-master studies for acquiring the title of master of science in the relevant scientific field, an average grade of at least 8.00 in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, knowledge of a foreign language and fulfillment of other conditions depending on scientific areas that can be prescribed by faculty acts;
  • persons whose title acquired in the equivalence procedure according to previously valid regulations is equal to the title acquired upon completion of the second cycle of studies in the relevant scientific field, have an average grade of at least 8.00 in each of the study cycles, knowledge of a foreign language and fulfillment of other conditions depending on the scientific field that can be prescribed by the acts of the faculty.

In addition to the general requirements, candidates from non-mother faculties who wish to enroll in a specific doctoral study program must also meet the special requirements, which are available on the University website and / or the website of the relevant faculty. If a larger number of candidates apply for the competition than prescribed by the competition, the ranking will be based on the success of previous studies and special conditions, published on the University website and / or the website of the relevant faculty. The enrollment commission of the university organizational unit is obliged to submit to the central enrollment commission a final report on the results of enrollment of students in the study programs of the appropriate unit within 24 hours after the formation of the ranking list. The Central Enrollment Commission submits to the University Senate a single report for enrollment at the University level.
